The Street Racer series www.uk-srs.co.uk is where I got my first proper taste of drag racing.
Run by racers for racers, it is a low cost, minimal rules series where you can compete against the clock or against another racer at either a RWYB day or their own pre booked days at Santa Pod and Shakespeare County.
Your call will need to be taxed, insured and MOT’d with a full exhaust system. A choice of tyres are acceptable including the new Mickey Thompson Street radials.
A great bunch of very knowledgeable and friendly guys and a serious proving ground for drivers wanting to step up to the more serious race classes.
